Real Estate Leaders Around the World Come to Florida

The government has decided to introduce the new “Community Planning Act” for Florida and for this more than 250 real estate executives from different countries gathered on an important event which was organized by “Akerman Senterfitt” and the “Urban Land Institute (ULI)” on 9th June, 2011.

The laws for real estate of Florida approved by the governor Mr. Rick Scott on 2nd June are now undergone through the Florida Legislature and some changes have been made in the existing laws for the management of state’s growth. The changes were decided to improve the performance of the real estate market of Florida, state oversight, management of local currency and overall mortgage development process.

The recent changes and its impacts have been discussed by several experts of the state. Cecelia Bonifay who is known as the famous realtor and chairperson of “Akerman Green & Sustainable Development Practice” says that it was compulsory for the future development process of real estate of Florida. The governance chairman of the “ULI Central Florida District Council” says that a more customize approach can be obtained through this decision which will also remain helpful for the needs of community.

According to him the government can also shape the development process according to its own choice and the “Community Planning Act” is going to provide a better way in this regard. Another panel is going to arrange the same event at Miami and West Palm Beach. One of the shareholders of “Akerman Real Estate Practice Group” will be there to moderate the whole discussion.
