The latest news in the Taiwan Real Estate says that CB Richards Ellis (CBRE) investors will be investing massively in the Taiwan market for the very first time. CBRE is a popular global firm in the real estate business.   The firm’s oncoming investment in the Taiwan real estate is seen as welcome development that can turn around the fortune of the Taiwan market.

The news of the oncoming investment was declared by a high ranking official of the CEPD (Council for Economic Planning and Development).  This commission has always been on the prowl to attract lots of   US investors.   On the 20th of May 2011, the commission sent out a delegation to Los Angeles to woo investors. Christina Y Liu who is the CEPD minister led the delegation. Apart from wooing the US investors, the Chinese Investors are also considered. The commission intends to woo both the US and Chinese investors to engage in the ever growing Taiwan real estate market.

In one of their meetings, Laurie Romanak who is the executive director of CBRE emphasized the interest of the agency to invest massively in the Taiwan real estate market.  To get the plan going, Laurie signed a memorandum of understanding with Liu, the minister of CEPD.

Lots of special properties have been mapped up for the CBRE investment. Over $300 million US dollars is expected to be invested by the CBRE. It promises to be a profitable deal for the Taiwan real estate market and the CBRE herself.
